Yes, all nursing graduates must take the CBT exam to become registered nurses in the UK.
The CBT exam for nurses consists of Part A, 15 questions related to medication and drug calculation, and Part B, 100 questions related to nursing subjects. So, a total of 115 questions will be in the CBT exam, and to complete the exam, you will be given 3 hours.
First, you have to evaluate your qualification from the NMC, which is the Nursing Midwifery Council UK; afterwards, you have to take competence tests, which are the CBT and OSCE exams. Along with these exams, you must take the English proficiency test (ILETS/OET).
To become a registered nurse in the UK, there are various fees you must pay. First is qualification evaluation (140 euros), CBT fee (83 euros), OSCE fee (794 euros), and registration fee (153 euros). In total, it will cost you around 1170 euros. In Indian rupees, approximately . 1 lakh.
